Because of Real Bread week we wanted to give you a specific insight into our range of speciality breads.
Our mega pizzeria in Italy produces our unique, handmade stone baked focaccia. Depending on your preference, our focaccia can be stored either chilled or frozen. It’s quick and easy to make, and has a shelf life of up to 60 days. The versatility of the focaccia makes it the ideal addition to increase menu development, with the potential to boost your GP by 70%. For instance, you can use our focaccia to make extravagant sandwiches, as a side dish for soup or a salad, or simply as a premium addition to your bread basket.
In the making of our speciality bread, we use semolina dough and double the quantity of yeast starter to enhance the flavor and give our Focaccia a rich, delicate, fluffy texture. In comparison to pizza dough, Focaccia is frequently pinched, which increases the bread’s capacity to retain moisture.
Our puccia bread is a true classic of street cuisine and is incredibly versatile. We like to describe our speciality bread Puccia as a mix between a crumpet and a ciabatta. As for our Focaccia, Puccia is also made starting from our Premium Semolina Durum Wheat Dough. Our puccia may be stored either chilled or frozen depending on your preferences. It can be prepared quickly and easily, and has a shelf life of up to 60 days.
The puccia can be enjoyed with a variety of different fillings such as italian cold cuts of meat, greens or even as a type of filled pocket including falafel and other mediterranean delicacies as seen in the picture below. Simply put, there are countless recipes and opportunities when it comes to puccia. Just modify the fillings to suit your menu and take advantage of the chance to increase your GP by 70%!
