Pizza unquestionably stands as one of the most iconic foods globally. It finds representation in every cuisine. Opinions on it may vary – some consider it unconventional, while others find it refreshing. At PizzaSi, we aim to move beyond the typical cliches, though it’s worth noting that pineapple in a tin is not welcome on our pizza!
For those reasons, we’re thrilled to announce a competition centred around unleashing your creativity, showcasing your culinary expertise, and exploring flavour combinations with you in our PizzaSi Academy kitchen.
This year, we’re challenging you to bring “The flavours of British summer” to life with your most innovative approach.
You will be working on your 2 recipes, using:
🍕Our newest Sourdough Pizza; a staple of our range, gracing kitchens worldwide Or PINSA Bases; a roman delight with the ideal blend of airy, chewy goodness and rich flavour.
🍕You will be able to use our very own selection of high-quality ingredients.
🍕But here’s the twist – we would encourage you to bring your own toppings selection to make your Pizzas uniquely yours!
The competition will be a friendly, yet competitive, cook–off where you get to show your skills and experiment with flavours. It’s your time to shine as you present your culinary masterpieces to our judges. You have been challenged to make two different Pizzas, following the given theme “The flavours of British summer”, from which you will be assessed on four different variables. With a focus on creativity, you will be judged based on your two different creations on the factors following:

Picture yourself in the beautiful San Severino Marche, home of our MEGA Pizzeria, witnessing the behind-the–scenes production site, where a team of master Pizza Chef hand stretch every single Pizza by hand, while getting a glimpse into the heritage and reality of PizzaSi and all it is.
STAGE 1 – APPLICATION SUBMISSION
We are currently evaluating candidates that will submit their interest in participating.
This first stage deadline is March the 18th

STAGE 2 – TUTORING DAY (day TBC)
We will then select up to 14 candidates to come in April in our PizzaSi Academy for a full tutoring session to familiarise with our Premium Pizza Bases, other products and the kitchen you will be working from
STAGE 3 – FINALIS SELECTION
After that, we would ask you to submit your final recipes using the Competition Theme – this year is “The Flavour of British Summer” – by May the 20th.
STAGE 4 – THE SILVER SLICER FINAL (day TBC)
The finalists will then be selected to cook their creation in June at the PizzaSi Academy in front of the judges
